“Most small businesses had to change their marketing strategies to increase their holiday sales and social network marketing is their main option. Therefore, most small businesses have chosen social networks for their holiday promotions. One of the first companies which changed its marketing strategies was Logos. According to the company’s vice president of marketing, Dan Pritchett, the company turned the tables on how most companies traditionally offer discounts and allowed its customers to choose the products they wanted to see on sale.

The company wrote on its Facebook and Twitter accounts and asked its clients to choose three products that they wanted to be on sale and to email the list to the company’s representatives. According to Pritchett, a typical forum post brings nearly 100 visitors a day, while this post brought more than 13,000 views and 240 comments. Therefore, Logos is estimating nearly $30 million in revenue this year. The company has also managed to enhance its marketing list with the new contacts that came in from the promotion.”
